Step 1 - Start in the "Categories" section or search for individual foods from any page.

To start in the Categories section, just click on any link that says categories. Like this one, Categories, for example. In the Categories section you can select from common food categories, like Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner, Snacks and Beverages.



To search from any page
, just enter a keyword describing any food you wish to know about, then click the "submit" button.


Step 2 -
Add the foods you've selected to your daily totals To find out how these foods fit into a whole days worth of food choices, press the "Add" button. (If you had a fraction of a serving or more than one serving you can specify this using the "How Many" text box. Enter the desired number of servings under the "How Many?" column.)


Step 3 -
View your daily totals. The Nutrition Calculator keeps a running tab of everything you add to your daily totals. It also informs you when you're diet is deficient in some nutrients or excessive in others. 


Step 4 -
Return to the "Categories" section to choose nutrients from a different category, then add them to your daily totals. Or enter another keyword to find more foods to add to your daily totals.
